Visa – If you travel in Leisure you must obtain the Tourist Visa, valid for 60 days from the date of emission. If you travel in Business you must obtain the Business Visa valid for 30 days and may be extended up to 90 days.

LEGAL DOCUMENTS
Before travel to Maputo, you must obtain a visa at the Embassy or Consulate of the Republic of Mozambique. There are different types of visas, so you should have the one that best suits your trip.
How to get there
By Air
Search a flight to Maputo International Airport (MPM, FQMA) also known as Lourenço Marques Airport or Mavalane International Airport, the largest and well connected airport in Mozambique. MPM is the best option, because is located 3 km from of the center of Maputo.
WHAT TO DO
Museums
In the National Art Museum you can find an exquisite collection of paintings and sculptures by the most prestigious contemporary artists of Maputo. The Natural History Museum is one of the main icons of Mozambique's culture, there you will be amazed by 14 elephants ferns of wildlife symbol and ethnological pieces.
PARADISE ISLANDS
A little more than 2 hours from Maputo Bay is Inhaca Island, where exists 150 species of corals, more than 300 species of birds and four species of turtle. Recommended for the practice of diving for the richness of its aquatic biodiversity. From Ilha de Inhaca you can take a boat trip to the Portuguese Island, Maputo Nature Reserve, where you can find stunning white sand beaches and lagoons.
NATURAL PARKS AND RESERVES
Kruger National Park is 3 hours from Maputo and belongs to the Kruger-Canyons Biosphere Reserve (UNESCO), with more than 2 million hectares of wildlife and is the largest protected area in South Africa. At Kruger National Park you will find: lions, elephants, rhinoceroses, buffaloes, leopards, Hornbill, Kori Bustard, vulture, pelt owl and the stork Saddle-bill. Maputo Elephant Reserve, also known as Maputo Special Reserve, is located at south of the city of Maputo and its goal is protect the elephant population.
SHOPPING AND ENTERTAINMENT
Polana Shopping Center located on Julius Nyerere Avenue, the main shopping street of the city, is one of Maputo's most prestigious commercial places and great for shopping, because of the excellence of its stores. At Polana Casino, located on Marginal Avenue, front of Mira Mar beach, you can find a place to have fun with a wide variety of game machines.
